Weekend with Justin Isosceles

Event: Introduced almost 40 years ago by Ely Callaway, inventor of the “Big Bertha” golf club, Callaway wines have always been known for their quality and style. Rooted in the fresh varietal character of coastal vineyards, Callaway wines offer fresh, fruit-forward flavors, full body and a crisp, clean finish. Careful winemaking under the guidance of acclaimed Wine consultant Robert Pepi, who pioneered the “Two Heart Canopy” trellising system, ensures wines that are the perfect compliment to today’s lighter yet flavorful cuisine.”

Founded in Temecula, Califronia, in 1968, by legendary marketer, Ely Callaway, Callaway Winery became the first premium wine producer from Southern California. Using the latest cold-fermentation wine-making technologies, Callaway quickly gained recognition as a producer of high quality white wines at a time when California was jut becoming known as a source of world class wine.

After a long absences, we will also be tasting the new vintage of Justin Isosceles! JUSTIN Winery is a family owned and operated winery making estate grown and produced wines. The property was founded in 1981 by Justin and Deborah Baldwin when they planted their 160 acre property to the major Bordeaux varietals and created their Estate vineyard.

The winery is located in the Paso Robles appellation of California’s Central Coast. The region’s first grapes were planted in 1779 by Franciscan missionaries and today are home to the third highest concentration of wineries in the United States.
